I’m thrilled to announce that I won a w3 Awards Silver Award in the Websites category for developing TheBookfest.com.
The BookFest®
The BookFest® Spring 2020 was first held May 9, 2020, as the LA BookFest. The BookFest® is a twice-yearly event that brings together authors, journalists, business leaders, celebrities, and booklovers. The BookFest® events are free to attend and feature panel discussions, conversations, live ask-an-author chats, author readings, virtual booths, contests, and books.
The w3 Silver award was granted to the inaugural LA BookFest in the spring of 2020.
This was an enjoyable project to work on! The Bookfest was a massive success due to the vision and hard work of the team: Art Director David Diffy, A.G. Billig, Siddhi Jahagirdar, Bree Swider, Dacey Villarreal, and founder Desireé Duffy. I had a great time collaborating with them.
